Day 1Vancouver, British Columbia
Day 2Inside Passage, Alaska
The Inside Passage embodies the best of Alaska's pristine nature and rugged beauty. The wildlife, rainforest shrouded in mist, magnificent fjords and the majesty of the Hubbard Glacier are among the many photo ops.
Day 3Ketchikan, Alaska
Ketchikan is the gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument, whose landscapes and dramatic seascapes can only be reached by plane or boat. The Salmon Capital is a hub for sports fishing and home to a collection of totem poles.
Day 4Icy Strait Point, Alaska
The Huna Tlingit welcome visitors to Chichagof Island, where you can experience their rich culture and unspoiled wilderness. Inside the 1912 cannery complex visit the free museum.
Day 5Juneau, Alaska
Surrounded by fjords, forest and snow-capped mountains, Juneau is one gorgeous state capital. Its historic downtown harkens back to its gold-rush origins and you can still pan for gold. But nature is the priceless treasure.
Day 6Skagway, Alaska
The great Klondike Rush lives on in Skagway's charming downtown of restored 19th-century buildings and its historic railway. From the vintage train, admire the mountains and see the 1898 trail that fortune seekers traveled on foot.
Day 7Hubbard Glacier, Alaska
Hubbard Glacier is 76 miles long, 7 miles wide and 350 feet above the water line where it meets the bay. Watch as massive chunks of ice crash into the bay, a process known as calving that the Tlingit people call "White Thunder."
Day 8Seward, Alaska
(Disembarkation) Seward is perched on a peninsula where the ice age has had lasting power. Where ocean and mountains meet, the frosty waters and rugged coast of Resurrection Bay sustain birds, sea mammals and other marine life. Ride the deluxe motor coach to the Alaska SeaLife Center, home to an aquarium and rescued animals. Continue north to visit the Anchorage Museum's kid-friendly Imaginarium Discovery Center before the drive into the interior. From 5:30 p.m., the village of Talkeetna is yours to discover. Close to the lodge, the historic downtown has a unique collection of cafes, roadhouse eateries, shops and galleries. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
Day 9Denali National Park, Alaska
Enjoy the views from the Wilderness Express glass-domed rail cars on the train ride to Denali National Park. The Murie Science and Learning Center Denali Family Experience combines ranger-led time with interpretive stops while going into the park, looking for wildlife. After your tour, your time in Denali is your own. Stroll the scenic trails around the lodge or book a memorable optional excursion, like flightseeing. Overnight at Denali Park Village.
Day 10Denali National Park, Alaska
The morning is free for optional adventures, like a river float trip or meeting the sled dogs at the Husky Homestead, before the drive to Anchorage. From 5:00 p.m., Anchorage is yours to explore. The big city has a fun, eclectic dining scene with a lively summer ambience. The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is perfect for a pre- or post-dinner stroll along the waterfront. Overnight at the Anchorage Marriott.
Day 11Anchorage, Alaska
