Crystal Cruises<\/strong> has announced \u201cthe most significant brand expansion in the history of luxury travel and hospitality\u201d including new ships with private home residences, its own airline, a yacht and river cruise ships. \u00a0The announcement was\u00a0made during the Annual Presidents cruise aboard the\u00a0Crystal Serenity<\/strong> and on the Chairman\u2019s cruise on Crystal Symphony<\/strong>. Edie Rodriguez and Chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay outlined the expansion\u00a0plans for the Crystal brand.<\/p>\n

Crystal\u00a0Executive Class with Residences<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three new \u201cCrystal Exclusive Class\u201d cruise ships, which will\u00a0be polar-ice-rated vessels, will arrive in the fall of\u00a02018, enabling Crystal to offer exploration voyages. Each ship will take 1,000 guests, and at 100,000 grt will offer the highest space ratio in the industry. Suites will be a minimum of 400 sq. ft., and a ceiling height of eight feet. These ships will also feature Crystal Residences<\/strong>, 48 unique homes offering their own private restaurant, reception, along with 9-foot ceilings. They will be located on the top deck. Early purchasers will be able to design and decorate their dream home in the size and style they wish. The ships will also have 1,000 crew members, offering a one-to-one crew to guest ratio.<\/p>\n

Itineraries will allow guests to explore historical destinations in-depth with stays of up to 3 days in each special location.<\/p>\n

Crystal Yacht Cruises<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Crystal Esprit Yacht<\/p><\/div>\n

Crystal Yacht Cruises<\/strong> will launch in November 2015 with the introduction of Crystal Esprit. \u00a0Its\u00a0maiden voyage is scheduled for\u00a0December 2015 around the Seychelles islands off the coast of Africa. The ship will accommodate 62 guests in all-suite staterooms, have its own submarine, 10 Zodiacs, water skis, jet skis and more.<\/p>\n

Crystal River Cruises<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crystal River Cruises<\/strong> will debut in spring 2017, offering six-star service, world class dining and cultural\u00a0shore excursions. They will boast the largest suites in river cruising.<\/p>\n

Crystal Luxury Air<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crystal Cruises will be launching their own Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/strong>, coming\u00a0in 2017. The plane will fly round-the-world on 28-day itineraries, visiting between 10-12 remote and sought-after destinations. It will accommodate 60 guests in the space in which other airlines seat 300 passengers. Crystal guarantees clients will travel in whisper-quiet, ultra-luxurious style, with flly-reclining flatbed seats and world-renowned service.<\/p>\n

Suites will be a minimum of 400 sq. ft on the new Executive Class ships.<\/p><\/div>\n
