One exception: If you want to do a bear-watching shore excursion, prime bear season is not until late June or early July.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Denali<\/strong>: If you want to do a land tour that includes the national park, don\u2019t come during the May shoulder season\u2014the park doesn\u2019t open up until early June.<\/p>\n<p>Hate mosquitoes?
