The all-inclusive cruise drink packages on Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Sun has been discontinued for cruise departures beginning on or after September 7, 2019.<\/p>\n

Following recent U.S. government changes to Cuba travel, short itineraries were altered the cruise line and made the decision to change its open bar policy. According to a statement made by Norwegian Cruise Lines, “Any guests sailing on Norwegian Sun and Sky after September 7, 2019, who booked a cruise which included Free Open Bar at time of purchase will still be able to enjoy the unlimited open bar.”<\/p>\n

Norwegian issued a statement explaining that people cruising on these two ships are still able to select a Free Open Bar from the “Free at Sea” program which includes other options as well.<\/p>\n

Cruisers can still select from a Norwegian drink package offering adult beverages, water, soda, and juices. The Premium Beverage Package (formerly the Ultimate Beverage Package) includes cocktails, wine by the glass, spirits, bottled and draft beer, and unlimited fountain soda and juices (up to and including $15 price). Norwegian Cruise Line’s all-inclusive cruise packages include “Free at Sea” which offers the following options:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Shore excursions
\n\u2022 Specialty dining
\n\u2022 WiFi
\n\u2022 Friends and family sail free (on select sailings)
