Start your 2019 21 day Avalon river cruise from Berlin to Bucharest vacation with two nights in Berlin and later enjoy two nights in Transylvania along the waters of the Grand Danube River. Follow a local expert guide as they tour you through the city’s most important sites, including the restoration of the Reichstag building, the iconic Kurfürstendamm boulevard, the important Holocaust Memorial, and the soaring Brandenburg Gate. Your two-day overnight stay in Berlin will include a visit to the incredible Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

Day 1 Berlin, Germany

Willkommen in Berlin!

Take advantage of free time during your day to relax and unwind or stroll through some of the boulevards and avenues of this capital city of Germany. Kick off this fantastic European vacation however your heart desires.

Day 2 Berlin

Visit many important historic and famous sites today as you follow the lead of an expert guide through the city of Berlin. Your visit will include a stop to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial church, a visit to see the incredible restoration of the Reichstag building, along with a stroll down the delightful avenue of Kurfurstendamm. You will also get the opportunity to experience the dramatic history on display at the Holocaust Memorial, along with the gigantic Brandenburg Gate. The afternoon is free to further sightsee throughout Berlin at your ease.

Day 3 Berlin-Dresden-Prague, Czech Republic

Take part in a journey during the morning to Dresden where you will see its post-WWII restoration of its baroque buildings; stop and get a look at the magnificent courtyard of Zwinger Palace, and visit the astonishing 1841 Semperoper, Dresden’s iconic opera house that stands in all of its glory after its restoration following its destruction by both water and fire. Day 4 Prague
