Today you’ll arrive in charming Passau, situated at the junction of the breathtaking Inn, Ilz, and Danube rivers. The sensational abbey houses a fantastic ornate library with more than 80,000 printed books and 2,000 manuscripts. You’ll be mesmerized by the beauty of this stunningly elegant church with its amazing frescoed ceilings, towering high altar, stately marble statues, and soaring 210-foot-high cupola. You’ll have opportunity to join a knowledgeable LOCAL GUIDE to explore its historic Old Town, where winding narrow cobblestone streets and alleyways twist and turn to eventually reveal the Town Hall, which is one of the oldest stone buildings in the city; and stunning gothic ST. Day 7 Budapest, Hungary
Beautiful Budapest, spanning the banks of the picturesque blue Danube River, is considered one of Eastern Europe’s most vibrant cities. It doesn’t matter whether you’re just sightseeing, seriously shopping for handcrafted embroidery or popular Herend porcelain, or merely reveling in the popular coffeehouse culture while enjoying a wonderfully rich cream cake in the world-renowned Gerbeaud Café; Budapest’s ultimate atmosphere is positively appetizing.
