Day 1 – Remich, Luxembourg (Embarkation)
This beautifully historical city welcomes you with its neo-classical architecture and breathtaking views. Remich will charm you with its elegant cafes, fashion flair, local cuisine that opens your senses. After your plane lands, you will arrive at your cruise vessel for a welcome reception dinner at 5pm. If your flight lands earlier than expected, take advantage of your free time and peruse the grounds on one of the optional excursions. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)


Day 2 – Trier, Germany
Today, you will sail to the tip of the Moselle Valley which will bring you to the Trier, Germany’s oldest city. This city is said to be older than Rome, and has the only surviving fortified gate, the Porta Nigra, a 20,000 seat amphitheater. This gate gives access to the town’s center. The town also offers fresh market squares, and Germany’s oldest Christian church that shows a brilliant display of neo-classical and baroque structure on each wall. You can choose between a Roman Trier guided tours or venture forth on your own for a personal experience on your free time. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 – Bernkastel
Since the Moselle Region is the known for its local and delicious wine, the Bernkastel village is a charming little area with plenty of history just waiting to be discovered. Avalon European River CruiseThese half-timbered houses stand tall among narrowing streets that have been around since the Middle Ages. Enjoy a guided tour through the renaissance-style Town Hall and the ‘pointed house’ which were built in 1416. The Bernkasteler Doktor is the most celebrated vintages and the largest cared-for winery and the Wine Museum will introduce you to the vineyards history. This breathtaking Roman heritage brings you to adventurous activities such as Adventure Forest, a playground full of ropes and beams to climb across, or you can view the birds of prey and wolves a the Kasselburg Eagle and Wolf Park, while you enjoy the rest of your free time before getting back to the vessel. Day 4 – Cochem
Enjoy your breakfast while touring up Moselle River and tranquil scene of Moselle Valley, also a wine-lovers dream, and one of the popular wine-growing areas.  Cochem is at the heart of the wine trade in Moselle. It’s also the home of the Riesling grape, known for its fruity and floral notes. After a light lunch, Cochem is just a moment away, where you’ll dock and enjoy the lively winding streets, fresh local food, and half-timbered houses full of remarkable history during a guided walk. Reichsburg Castle sits atop a cone shaped hill that will take you right back to 1000 AD, this gothic castles first appearance. Tour the inside laden with baroque architecture and neo-classical furniture. The castles view overlooks the busy town and river below. Before boarding your vessel, you will have free time to search other historical sites such as the Cochem Castle, built in 1000 but destroyed in 1689, and rebuilt between the years 1874 to 1877. You will have a chance to learn about Cochem Castles’ history behind the entire existence.   (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)


Day 5 – Rhine Gorge – Rudesheim
A peaceful cruise sets the tone of the cruise this morning, as you sail down the serene waterway of Rhine Gorge. A dramatic display of gothic-style castles sits 400 feet high above the water and just around the corner is the legendary Lorelei rock, where it is said that mermaids sung their sailors to their fate. The wine town is just a coast away in Rudesheim, where you can sample many local flavors of wine while overlooking a breathtaking vineyard and Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Museum where 18th century instruments and music boxes echo songs of the past. You won’t want to miss the famous ‘must see’ statue that was built to commemorate the foundation of the German empire, Germania.  After grabbing your complimentary special treat, head over to the fun festivities that surround the cobblestone Drosselgrasse while you pick up some souvenirs and enjoy the open fields of the lush vineyard and brightly displayed flowers, and live music. Day 6 Dusseldorf
Welcome to the bustling Rhine-Rhur metropolis region of Germany. Take a trip to view the Jan Wellem Statue in front of the City Hall and cruise the sights of Old Town by guided tour or solo. Well-known for its fashion and trade fair, Dusseldorf attracts many professionals to the business and financial centers as well. Join a guided sightseeing tour for an in-depth experience of this superb city. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)


Day 7 – Amsterdam, Holland
Cruise through the elegant grachten by canal boat. Admire the Golden Age homes that have old roots in this breathtaking town. This beautifully historical city welcomes you with its neo-classical architecture and breathtaking views. Amsterdam will charm you with its elegant cafes, fashion flair, local cuisine that opens your senses.
