Your cruise on the Viking Orion takes you through the beautiful Inside Passage and on to Ketchikan, Sitka, and Icy Strait Point. You’ll enjoy some fun and relaxing time at sea before arriving in Valdez. Seward is famous for beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park.
You’ll quickly understand why Kodiak is called Alaska’s “Emerald Isle” during the summer months. It’s home to Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge. Next stop is Dutch Harbor (Unalaska) where you can take amazing bald eagles photographs. In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka you’ll see two volcanoes, bays, beaches, museums, and galleries. Korsakov, Sakhalin Island, Russia is a small fishing village. The main street is often lined with fresh fruit and vegetable stalls.
In Sapporo (Otaru), Many restaurants, sops, and historic sites are within walking distance from your ship. Your final port is the amazing city of Tokyo, which is a beautiful blend of the traditional with the modern. Beautiful shrines, museums, gardens, and the Imperial Palaces are must see places.
