Regensburg
Regensburg is a medieval city and one of the best preserved in all of Germany. Nuremberg
Nuremberg was once the unofficial capital of the Holy Roman Empire. Gothic churches , a castle, and medieval fortifications are some of the sights you’ll see. Don’t forget to make a wish in the fountain at Hauptmarkt (main square). Turn the gold ring three times to be sure your wish comes true. Next you’ll visit Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Then cruise to Würzburg where you’ll see the Fortress Marienberg perched above town, the 15th-century Alte Mainbrucke (Old Main Bridge) and the beautiful baroque Bishop’s residenz. Next it’s on the picturesque Bavarian Main River Village where you will want to take many photographs. In Rüdesheim, visit the fantastic Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum.
Then cruise through the Rhine Gorge, where ancient castles stand on cliffs that rise 400 feet above the river. Arrive in Cologne, one of the largest cities in Germany.
