Norwegian Cruise Lines considers the health and safety of its guests and crew to be of the utmost importance. All public areas on ships are smoke-free as well as in staterooms and balconies. Smoking in staterooms and on balconies will result in a $250 USD cleaning charge added to your onboard account. Any damages resulting from smoking such as cigarette burns on furniture, linens, towels or carpeting will be charged to your account. Each ship has designated areas for the convenience of guests who smoke.
Oceania Cruises
Smoking is prohibited in staterooms, suites, verandas, and any part of the ship that is not a designated smoking area. Any guests who choose to disregard the policy will be disembarked at the next port, and they will be charged all fees relating to damage and cleaning of stateroom, veranda, and surrounding deck. Designated smoking areas are conveniently located outside near food and beverage outlets.
Princess Cruises
In an effort to provide safety and comfort to guests and crew, Princess cruises prohibits smoking in staterooms and balconies. Guests violating this policy will be charged $250.00 to their stateroom account for each occurrence. All food service areas and dining rooms are non-smoking as are show lounges. Designated smoking areas are provided onboard for the convenience of guests.
Royal Caribbean
All Royal Caribbean ships are designated as non-smoking, but because there are guests who do smoke certain areas on the ship have been designated as smoking areas. Signs are posted to assist guests in locating areas where smoking is allowed. In these smoking areas cigarette, cigar, electronic cigarettes, and pipe-smoking is permitted. No smoking is permitted in dining venues, theater, bars, lounges, hallways, elevators, and jogging track. Staterooms and balconies are all non-smoking areas, and guests who violate the policy will be charged $250.00 on their SeaPass® account and could be subject to further consequences as well.
Seabourn Cruises
To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, the smoking policy of Seabourn Cruises designates guest suites, verandas, and balconies as smoke-free. Most public areas are also smoke-free. Designated areas that allow smoking are well-marked. Guests who choose to violate the stateroom smoking policy will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee for each day the violation occurs.
