Happy Traveler Comment
Hi Rachel. Thank you so much for making such great arrangements for our NCL Pearl cruise. Everything went so smoothly for boarding the ship in Miami, all the in-between happenings, and departing from the ship at the end of our cruise. We really appreciated your picking our cabin for convenience. It was about 10 steps from the elevators. The NCL Pearl is a beautiful ship and our cabin was tops. We had great service and met a lot of new people. Thank you again for your great reservation services. I'll be happy to recommend you to any of my friends who are looking to do a cruise. — Marcie

Every cruise line wants your business, and they try to be all things to meet the needs of all types of people. Most cruises, however, do seem to specialize more in one genre than in others. This makes it important to choose the cruise line that caters the best to you and those cruising with you. It’s important to learn what each cruise line does in order to choose the best cruise lines for your vacation.

The Best Cruise Lines

Some cruise lines offer more activities geared for small children, and the following cruise lines may have just what you want if you have young ones in your cruise party.

Family Cruises with Young Children

Disney Cruise Line – You would expect a company that is built around entertaining to be at the top of the cruises catering to families, and Disney is top dog when it comes to children and cruising. Nurseries are available for babies 6 months and older and there are lots of themed play areas where small children can interact with Disney characters. Your cabin is also family-friendly with childproof balcony locks, tubs in the bathroom, room-dividing curtains and extra berths.
Carnival Cruise Line – Zumbini classes are for ages two to five, and get the little ones moving and playing with musical fun, dance, songs, and special instruments. Suess at Sea, the Hasbro Game Show, and lots of water play with slides and aqua parks help put Carnival high up on the family-friendly cruise list. They also offer lots of free food kids love, and that’s a big plus.

Family Cruises with Teens

Carnival Cruise Line – Carnival also makes it to the list for cruises with great fun and activities for the older children. There are outdoor movie screens, water parks, mini-golf, and separate cool clubs for “tweens” and teens.
Norwegian Cruise Line – Teens love the casual dress code (jeans are always okay), no set dining times, no eating with strangers, plenty of entertainment choices, and the great food choices that Norwegian offers. There are teen clubs with gaming stations, video arcades, water parks, cool musical venues, outdoor sports courts, and late-night snacks.

If you are active and into working out, you can select a cruise on a line that offers plenty of physical activities and opportunities to work out.
