Norwegian is adding a new music program to enhance their entertainment offerings.
“Free the Beat” is a new program recently unveiled by Norwegian Cruise Line. This program provides a platform for the best songwriters, artists, talent, and creators to make music even better for the 16 ships in Norwegian’s fleet. You’ll never wonder what to do on a cruise because Norwegian makes sure your days and evenings are full of exciting entertainment and activities. You’ll discover cruise activities designed for every personality type and age group.
Free the Beat
The music industry’s best are coming together to developed curated content. The “Free the Beat” global music library will be inspired by the top cruise destinations around the world. Songwriters, artists, and talent are creating a portfolio of exclusive music and will travel on special songwriter cruises.
Guest will hear new work from Family Affair Productions and Warner Chappell. Meg Lee (Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Norwegian Cruise Line) explained, “Music is a universal way to engage with people, and the Free the Beat program will allow us to enhance our storytelling with exclusive content created for us.” Your musical experience when cruising will never be the same once you experience Free the Beat.”

Cirque Dreams and Dinner® will captivate your attention with the dazzling and daring performance of acrobats soaring above. Norwegian’s Epic offers the guest the heartwarming musical – Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. On the Norwegian Pearl, music history comes alive with Legends in Concert. It’s always amazing showtime on every Norwegian ship.
Norwegian’s Aqua Park
The perfect place to spend a hot day on the sea. Features may vary from one ship to another, but they may include
• The Whip – a side-by-side race – up to a wet and wild slide reaching up to 5 stories high!
• The Free Fall – From 50 feet in the air you will feel the ground fall away as you race through a slippery slide at nearly 128 feet per second.
• The Epic Plunge – A 200-foot long waterslide aboard the Norwegian Epic offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
• Kids’ Aqua Park – Smaller water slides, and a splash pad are perfect for keeping the younger ones cool and happy on a hot day.
Go Karts
Select Norwegian Cruise Line ships offer Go-Karts to their guests who enjoy friendly competition as they make thrilling turns. Norwegian’s Encore features the first two-story go-kart track with exciting turns that go beyond the edge of the ship.
Laser Tag
The top deck of selected Norwegian cruise ships is home to laser tag courses which are modeled after a galactic battle or the lost city of Atlantis. It’s fun for the whole family along with all the other cruise activities that will keep you and your family happily entertained.
