Happy Traveler Comment
I first met Cesar at CruiseExperts.com while trying to book a cruise in Hawaii on line. I was so impressed with his professionalism, and the way he just took over and made all the arrangements for me. He took a load off my shoulders. So last year (June 2009) when 7 members of my family including myself decided to go on a mediterranean Cruise of course we sought the help of Cesar. I must say he and his colleagues at CruiseExperts.com put together an unforgettable Cruise. The arrangements were flawless. Everything went so smoothly. Yes, you guessed right, we will always seek their help and superb service whenever we decide to go an another cruise. — Judith C.

The holidays are over and winter has arrived with snow, ice, and cold temperatures in much of the world, and people are looking for a warm getaway. The first three months of the year are known as the “wave season” in the cruising industry. What is wave season? It’s a great opportunity for you to grab a bargain, and it doesn’t matter if you are a first-time cruiser or a veteran.

What is Wave Season?

Wave season is an approximately three-month long “Black Friday” for cruise lines. From January 1st through March 31st, travelers start planning and booking their cruise vacations for the year. The cruise lines want your business and zealously lure cruisers with great prices, excellent perks, onboard spending credits, and some even offer free excursions. These three months are when the cruise lines roll out their best promotions for the year. During this time, you may be able to find free drink and dining packages, free WiFi, cabin upgrades, free onboard credit, and more.

Cruise lines are anxious to fill as many staterooms as they can to prevent the need to drop prices 30 to 60 days before sailing. Their goal is to get you to book early and with such great deals available, you can understand why it’s a great time to score a bargain.
