Best Spring Break Cruise Lines for Teens

Deciding on a family vacation when teens are involved can be a little tricky. As a mother of five, four of which range from 14-18, I always try to make sure the teen’s schedules are packed with activities. Too much downtime for my bunch can result in a whinefest that sometimes leads to a full-fledged teenage breakdown that can ruin the whole trip for everyone. That’s why I love cruising for our vacations!  There is so much for the teens to do this potential meltdown is always avoided.

With the right cruise ship your teens are guaranteed to be so occupied and excited that they sometimes want to stay aboard during port stops! So, for all of you that are looking for the best spring break cruise ships for teens, I’ve got you covered!

Best Spring Break Cruise Lines for Teens

Royal Caribbean Rock Wall Climbing

Royal Caribbean: Royal Caribbean has really gone the extra mile to make sure that it has plenty to offer for the active teenager. Trust me, teens aboard this cruise line will be wiped out by the time the day is over. Some of the activities you can look forward to on a Royal Caribbean ship are zip-lining, rock wall climbing, surf simulators, bumper cars, and even a sky diving simulator aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas. If that’s not enough Royal Caribbean offers amazing teen-only hangouts, video arcades, and even a teen-only spa! Not all of the ships in the fleet offer the same amenities, so be sure and call the CruiseExperts.com to book the perfect ship in this fleet to fit your needs!

Best Spring Break Cruise Lines for Teens

Norwegian Teens

Norwegian: I have to say I love Norwegians freestyle dining approach where my family is concerned.  We need that anytime dining approach when we are cruising as a family. There are just too many what-ifs associated with a family packed full of kids and being on a schedule to eat can be difficult. I also enjoy the laid-back casual attire Norwegian offers. Nothing is harder than arguing with a teenager about what they’re going to wear to dinner. Norwegian has also put forth a lot of effort to make sure the teens have plenty to do while aboard. They have a video arcade featuring everything from foosball to air hockey.  Norwegian also offers teen-only lounges with big screen televisions for movies, and of course, video games!

Princess Teen Center

Princess:  I like to ensure that we incorporate educational while we’re on vacation. Princess is excellent at combining fun and education with their enrichment programs for teens. These classes range from pottery to cooking, and even yoga! They also have a Teen Explorer program, and my personal favorite, the “Science on the Seas” program.  Both programs are extremely educational and are sure to keep your teens mind sharp for when school starts back. Of course, Princess also offers these teens onboard activities and lounges too!
