Holland America Line is known for being a great option if you are interested in a multi-generational cruise, as it has a little bit of everything for every age group. Club Hal is split into age specific groups and is offered at select times until 10 p.m. Youth activities are offered for those 3-17 except on the Prinsendam which offers the program for those 5-17.
- Club Hal: At Club Hal cruisers between the ages of 3-7 can play in their own play land paradise. Here they can participate in activities such as candy bar bingo, arts and crafts, and even a kid Olympics. For those 8-12 Club Hal has video games, air hockey, and dance parties.
- The loft: The loft is a private spot for teens 13-17 to partake in activities such as video games, karaoke, and movies. Other features of the Loft include teen cooking demonstrations a steel drum class, and even some yoga and dance classes are available.
- Babysitting: Parents can also take advantage of Holland America Line’s extended babysitting services from 10 p.m. to midnight for kids 3-12 at the cost of only $5 per hour per child.
- Culinary Arts Center: Do you have a little foodie on your hands? Holland America Line offers a kids, tweens, and teens cooking class that lasts about 45 min. Kids under 8 years of age may learn to make fruit leather roll-ups, or ice cream sandwiches. Kids 8 and up can try their hand at making pita chips, hummus, soft pretzels, and even saltwater taffy!
