Hawaii graphicsThere are five Hawaiian islands. Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Oahu and Kauai. However, Molokai is small and cruise ships don’t stop there so we will focus on the other four islands.

The ports on each island are:

Oahu—Honolulu

Maui—Kahului and Lahaina

Hawaii—Hilo and Kona

Kauai—Nawiliwili

Hawaii woman showing flower lei garland

TIP: Send a lei greeting to someone special. When they arrive in Hawaii at the airport they will be greeted Hawaiian style and receive a flower lei. It’s a great gift idea for honeymooners, the birthday boy or girl, or just someone special in your group.  Prices start at about $25 per lei—it’s not cheap, but it’s the experience and what a way to kick off your vacation. If it’s just the lei you want—and not the greeting—then you can purchase leis on your own.
